Navarre Landcare group have an interest in sustainable agricultural production when it comes to Landcare. The group have been involved with several large scale tree planting events. Historically the first large scale planting by Project Platypus was in this area. The group have also been involved with significant rabbit and weed control work, and have prevented the spread of agricultural weeds such as Patterson’s Curse and St John’s Wort. The group don’t have regular meetings, but meet when a need arises.
