Roadside Weeds in the Northern Grampians

Working with local government

We are managing pest species along linear reserves (roadsides) in the Northern Grampians Shire

Annual control of catchment listed priority weeds and pest animals. Species such as gorse, blackberry, sweet briar rose, St John's Wort, Paterson's Curse, Bridal Creeper, broom species and rabbits, plus many more invasive species outlined in the Wimmera CMA Invasive Plant and Animal plan. Project Platypus aims to utilise the Landcare network and agency partners to deliver a cross tenure approach to controlling pest species.
