Our Projects

Project Platypus works across the Upper Wimmera Catchment region, from the headwaters of Barringgi Gadyin (the Wimmera River) in Mt Cole, to the Mt William Creek/Wimmera River junction at the northern end of Gariwerd (the Grampians Ranges).

Our projects focus on habitat creation and protection, species monitoring, community education and empowerment, and sustainable agriculture. We are guided by our landscape wide vision of reconnecting habitat across the Upper Wimmera, from Gariwerd (the Grampians Ranges) to the Pyrenees.
